1. I have purchased one of SPB products but have not received a serial number.
The serial number was sent to you in the purchase confirmation email. This email was sent to you by the online distributor (e.g. PocketGear, Handango) right after purchasing. You can also get the serial numbers of all products you purchased through the serial number recovery page.
2. I have lost my serial number. How can I get it again?
You can get the serial numbers for all products you have purchased at the serial number recovery page.
3. I have purchased a product, downloaded and installed it but it is a trial version. How can I register it?
You need to enter a serial number that you have recevied in the purchase confirmation email into the registration dialog to register the product. Time limit will be removed after registration.
4. I see that there is a new version of a product on the website. What is the best way to upgrade it?
Please, visit both Support and Frequently Asked Questions sections on the corresponding page - the special instructions on upgrading (if any) are always listed there. Otherwise, if no certain instructions are given, you should upgrade the usual way: uninstall the version of the software that is currently installed on your device then download and install the newer one. If you are uncertain about how to upgrade:
- If it is a minor upgrade (from 1.0 to 1.1, etc) you have to download the new version from our site and install it over the existing one. You do not need to re-register, the newer version uses the same serial number.
- If it is a major upgrade (from 1.0 to 2.0, etc), please visit the product upgrade page.
