1. What encryption algorithm is used to protect my data?

All data is stored in an encrypted password protected storage, strong AES 256bit algorithm is used for encryption. It means that nobody who does not know the password has any chance to access your sensitive information. You can read more about AES in Wikipedia, and one of the benefits of the AES algorithm is that it is widely used by different government and business organizations all over the world.

2. How can I make my work with Spb Wallet more secure?

If you are not sure about the strength of a password you have chosen for the wallet, just take a look at the Password Strength indicator, which analyzes it using multiple criteria (including the most popular words used in passwords, words that sound like or have a significant part of the most popular passwords, and some more).

An optional password hint can be specified for a wallet, but please keep in mind that the hint is not encrypted and may be shown to anyone.

A special logon panel is provided to make password input easier and to protect it from key loggers at both device and desktop.

For security reasons, the program locks the wallet automatically after a specified period of inactivity and cleans up the clipboard automatically. Of course, both features can be configured in program options.
