1. How to set an alarm? I want a detailed procedure.
There are a lot of ways to set an alarm. Here is one: enter the analog or digital clock mode.
Tap-and-hold on the clock area and select New Alarm from the context menu.
2. My alarms do not ring when the time comes and the device is in sleep mode. Why?
If you have installed the program to a card please move it into the main device memory.
If you use the custom sound mode, and your music file is stored on a card, please try to move it to the main memory also. The point is that there might be a little delay in the card initialization when getting out of the sleep mode on some specific devices.
3. How to switch the full screen mode on?
In the analog and digital clock modes you can switch between the normal mode and the full screen mode by tapping the clock area. In the world time mode you can enter the full screen mode by tapping on Zoom icon (it can be seen in the left-bottom corner of the map). In this case the world map will be displayed with a higher zoom ratio.
4. My device has a square screen (iPAQ 65xx, Palm Treo). Does Spb Time support it?
Spb Time 3.x version supports square screen devices.
Although there are no visual controls like Analogue, Digital Clocks, World Time, StopWatches and Timers you may switch screens via your Joystick (Up-Down-Left-Right) button, which is located under your screen.
Other functionality of Spb Time is saved for square screen devices.
5. How to change the program interface?
Spb Time program interface is configured by means of skins. To change the skin please choose Spb Time Menu, select Skins tab and select a preferable skin from the list.
6. Where can I download skins for Spb Time?
Please refer to Spb Time Skins page.
7. Where can I get CAB file to install Spb Time?
Please refer to download page.
Choose Download CAB
Then choose I Agree
--> Downloading should start
Then place this file to your Pocket PC and launch it.
8. What is a "lap time"?
When a stopwatch or a time counter is running you can fix intermediate time values called lap times. You can save these lap times in a certain file if needed. When you stop a stopwatch or a time counter the time on the panel is also added to the lap time list (red-colored).
9. It is rather difficult to point a certain city on a small map. What should I do?
Enter the full screen mode on the World Time screen. This mode provides a better zoom ratio, making it easier for you to select cities. To enter the full screen mode (and backwards) tap on the arrow button in the bottom left corner. You can move the map in the full screen mode with your stylus (a pan tool).
10. How can I constantly monitor time in a certain city?
- Open the world time screen.
- Find and tap on the city you want to monitor. It is much easier to find a city in the full screen mode.
- If you point the preferable city then its name and current time will appear on the map. Another way to select a city is to tap on a little arrow of any monitor and then select a city from the drop-down list.
- Choose the monitor to display the city and tap on a red little arrow in it. The city will be placed into this monitor.
- The only way to place a city into a monitor in full screen mode is to tap-and-hold on it, . Choose Select City As > from the context menu and select a proper monitor number.
