While using Pocket PC in kiosk mode, a user can switch between several allowed programs customized in Spb Kiosk Engine Builder. The programs are navigated by means of Kiosk Switcher, shown on this screenshot.

Another means of navigating between allowed applications is via Kiosk Start menu which replaces standard Start menu.

Spb Kiosk Engine Builder is a program for desktop PC which allows you to build Spb Kiosk Engine packages for your specific application(s) and configure other options.

If you select Use Kiosk Switcher, you will be able to provide users with the ability to run several allowed applications and switch between them. If you press the Switcher Links button you will get the list of the allowed applications as displayed on this screenshot. From this dialog box, you can add, remove and configure the list of allowed applications.

Kiosk Builder also allows to configure some advanced options. This screen is available in all editions.

Spb Kiosk Terminal allows you to run Terminal Service Client in kiosk mode. Full screen option is available to use the entire device screen to display remote desktop. The Auto-connect feature will simplify system support.

Spb Kiosk Terminal supports auto-connect. You can set the auto-connect settings: terminal server name, login, password and some additional options.

You can use Spb Kiosk Explorer to lock Pocket Internet Explorer in full screen mode, which makes the entire screen available for displaying the Web page.

It is possible to disable some commands in Internet Explorer menus to prevent the user from using Favorites list, modifying options etc.

This screenshot shows URL Filter in action. Pocket Internet Explorer will not navigate to restricted URLs and a warning will be given to the user.

Spb Kiosk Explorer Builder is a program for the desktop PC that allows you to customize and build Spb Kiosk Explorer packages. You can specify custom homepage, disable context menu and address bar in PIE or lock it to full screen mode. Additional options are available using Favorites, Commands and URL Filter buttons.

Commands screen allows you to configure which commands will be available to the user and which will not.

URL Filter screen is used to configure restricted access to certain web sites.

Kiosk mode can be temporarily disabled using secret unlock code which must be entered on admin logon screen. Logon screen can be invoked from Kiosk Start menu or from Kiosk Switcher main menu. Alternative method is to tap and hold the stylus for 10 seconds anywhere on the screen. This method helps if you are using Internet Explorer or Terminal Services Client in full screen mode or if taskbar is disabled and Start menu is not available.

In Admin mode you can use admin screen to change certain options, edit Switcher Links list and allowed processews list directly on the device. This screen also contains 2 important buttons. Lock Device button brings the device back to kiosk mode. Uninstall is used to completely uninstall Spb Kiosk from the device.
