1. The XDA antenna is pointed against my palm when I use Spb Keyboard in full screen mode. I prefer the screen rotated by 180 degrees. Is this possible?

You can select "Rotate screen in full screen" in program options.

2. How can I install more skins?

You can download additional free skins from the skins page. To install the downloaded skin, connect your Windows Mobile device to your desktop PC, run the downloaded skin installer and follow the instructions. You can also install skins to a storage card if you choose.

After the skin is downloaded and installed you can select it in the Spb Keyboard options.

You can also download Keyboard skins wirelessly, directly from your device. To do this, make sure that your device has an Internet connection, open Spb Keyboard options and choose Download Skins from the Tools menu. Internet Explorer will direct you to the mobile skin download page.

3. Where can I change Spb Keyboard options?

1. Open the SIP (Soft Input Panel) menu:

2. Choose the Options... menu item

3. Select Spb Keyboard and press the Options... button.

4. Does Spb Keyboard support my language?

There are two aspects of localization: one is the interface language and the other is the symbols that can be printed by the keyboard. The interface is localized into 10 languages and can be switched through the system Regional settings.

All layout customizations are done via 'skins'. A skin is a set of files that describe the keyboard layout and look. Each skin contains about 35 different language layouts, some of them require additional fonts to be installed on the device or IME support. So for example to enable Hebrew support, you need Hebrew fonts to be installed, which comes with any Hebrew localizer. As for Chinese and Korean layouts, it will require special IME dlls, that are available on the devices with Chinese ROM.

5. How can I use the word completion feature?

The word completion feature is enabled by default. When you type a word Spb Keyboard tries to predict the word you're typing and complete it. If you want to accept the predicted word you should press the right arrow key, otherwise just continue typing.

You can change word completion options. Please note that Spb Keyboard uses system word completion settings in the half-screen and standard modes.

6. Can I assign a hardware button to Spb Keyboard?

You can assign one of hardware buttons to quick show/hide Spb Keyboard. To do so you must use the standard way of hardware buttons assigning on Windows Mobile devices. Open the Settings -> Buttons dialog from the Start menu of your Windows Mobile device. Assign a certain button to Spb Keyboard as described there.

7. How do I register my copy of Spb Keyboard?

Spb Keyboard is a shareware application. This means you can download it for free and try it before making a purchasing decision. Iif you want to continue using it after your trial, you must purchase it. Read the instructions on purchasing for more information. You can pay with a credit card, cheque and other methods - open our "Purchase" page. After you purchase Spb Keyboard you will receive an e-mail with your registration code. Enter this code into the registration dialog. To get there first select Options... from the input methods menu, then choose Spb Keyboard from the drop-down list and press the Options... button.

8. Spb Keyboard covers too much of the screen space and closes some controls in the program I use.

For the cases like this Spb Keyboard has a special mode which we call Standard mode. In this case the keyboard takes only 80 px of the screen, the same size as the standard keyboard has. To switch to the standard mode just tap and hold the Full Screen mode switch button (the button with a keyboard icon on it).
