One of the easiest way to add many interesting channels is using the Online Catalog service.

When you choose to use the online catalog you will be provided with a most up-to-date version of the online channel catalog provided by SPB Software. All channels are divided into several groups.

A more advanced feature is possibility to add custom channels by providing their URL's. You should only find out the URL of an RSS/Atom feed channel and provide it to Spb News. The program will find and add this channel.

Every particular channel can behave according to common channel properties or its own ones. For example it may make sense to keep the content of a scientific channel or a blog for a longer period than for a news line channel.
