Toshiba K01
|
Toshiba has chosen SPB Mobile Shell as a base to build their NX!UI interface for their new Toshiba K01 smartphone. There are two versions of this smartphone for two major Japanese mobile operators: Toshiba T-01B for NTT DoCoMo and Toshiba IS02 for KDDI.
User interface is customized for each of these two mobile operators to incorporate operator specific features and requirements. We have also added full Japanese support including Yomigana support in text entry and search.
Other features implemented in this project are:
- "Favorite box" menu where possible to manually add applications, contacts and bookmarks
- Menu structure customization (with ability to manually hide unused application)
- Favorite web page shortcuts with web page thumbnail
- Support for Japanese Yomigana search and filtering in Contacts
- Support Bing as web search
