StarHub is an integrated communications provider in Singapore offering an advanced HSPA+ network for 3G phones. StarHub began offerings TV on Mobile service since 2008 supporting selected handsets via a WAP-based portal and embedded media players.
As mobile TV viewership grew to more than 100,000 per month, StarHub embarked on a campaign to enhance the existing service. SPB Software was called upon with the mandate to increase quality, experience and interactivity.
SPB TV solution was deployed with StarHub server components transparently enhancing and managing the end-user viewing experience while our clients running on Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Android, Symbian and iPhone enables users to view program listings and information, one-click direct access to TV channel viewing and fast channel switching between TV channels.
