SPB Software was chosen to help to engeneer user interface for Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X2.

As a part of strategic partnership between SPB Software and Sony Ericsson, SPB has worked on a several projects for Xperia X2. To make the most of the Xperia X2 powerful communicator, SPB has designed and developed a user friendly and intuitive interface for smartphone’s dialer. Taking advantage of the smartphone's unique panel technology, SPB has offered custom versions of SPB Mobile Shell and SPB Traveler.

Dialer User Interface

SPB has worked closely with SPB Ericsson’s designers to create a top-notch user interface for Xperia X2 dialer. The solution based on SPB UI Engine flexible platform provided a seamless user experience, while meeting all the requirements of design team. The dialer offers convenient touch button keypad, contacts browsing, call filtering, favorites list and other features enhancing user experience. All navigation can be easily done by finger without using stylus.

Spb Professional Panel and SPB Lifestyle Panels

Taking advantage of Xperia panels technology that provides more convenient access to device features, SPB has offered a custom version of SPB Mobile Shell user interface. SPB Mobile Shell comes pre-built into the ROM and can be selected form default panels of Xperia X2. Two SPB Mobile Shell panels, SPB Professional and SPB Lifestyle, expand the device functionality and enable users to optimize device to their personal needs.

Spb Traveler Panel

Available from PlayNow arena, SPB Traveler can be installed to Xperia X2 and used as a panel. SPB Traveler is a mobile travel assistant that provides users with world time, global weather forecasts, and a wide range of important travel tools, such as flight search, currency, unit, time and clothing size converters, tip calculator, phrase book, a 3D globe, and even a geographical game for fun self-education.
