SPB Software was picked by Sony Ericsson to develop Vkontakte Timescape™ plugin for Xperia™ X10 - their first Android smartphone series.

SPB developed a plugin for Vkontakte, the biggest Russian social network, as a part of their first Android device series - Xperia™ X10. Vkontakte plugin is tightly integrated with Timescape™ and ensures seemless social networking experience. Vkontakte for Timescape™ provides user with functions like status posting/updates, messaging and photo updates. Friends' Vkontakte data can also be synced to Xperia™ X10 contacts. The plugin for Timescape™ is preinstalled to all Xperia™ X10, Xperia™ X10 mini and Xperia™ X10 mini pro devices sold in Russia and CIS.

Timescape™ revolutionises user's social experience by collecting all his/her communications into one view. Events appear as a tile in a chronological flow on the screen. User can see a preview of an event before choosing to view the full content. With the infinite button, all communications for a contact can be viewed.

Vkontakte is the most popular social network service in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The network has around 68 million users and is the leading site in Europe in terms of user visits, page views and data transfer per day. VKontakte is ranked 28 in Alexa's global Top 500 sites.
