Based on previous success on co-working with SPB, SonyEricsson invited SPB Software to work on the Sony Ericsson Aspen™ product.

Sony Ericsson Aspen™ is the business mobile phone with green credentials at its core. The newest edition to the successful Sony Ericsson GreenHeart™ portfolio, Sony Ericsson Aspen™, allows easy multi-tasking combining the touch experience and a real QWERTY keyboard.
Sony Ericsson and SPB worked on several projects together for this product.
Sony Ericsson Panel
Sony Ericsson Aspen™ provides the concept of panels which is also used in Sony Ericsson Xperia Windows Mobile line. Panels are the small applications that run on top of standard Windows Mobile UI, thus providing more convenient access to it features.
SPB created the default home panel for Aspen based on SPB Mobile Shell UI engine.

Dialer User Interface
With flexibility power of SPB Mobile Shell engine and with creativity of SonyEricsson designers, SPB developed dialer UI application for Aspen. The dialer supports contacts browsing, arranging favorites and all standard phone features. The UI is designed to be navigated by finger only and without using stylus.


SPB Professional Panel and SPB Lifestyle Panels
SPB speicailly customized SPB Mobile Shell for Sony Ericsson Aspen™. Two panels, SPB Professional and SPB Lifestyle help user to organize screen space in comfortable and covenient way depending on the situation. SPB Professional is meant to organize widgets and shortcuts in more formal way, while SPB Lifestyle panels gives more ways to use the phone in everyday environment.

SPB Traveler Panel
Available from PlayNow arena, SPB Traveler is a mobile travel assistant application that helps to keep track of trips, stay on top of meetings even when abroad. SPB Traveler provides travelers with world time and global weather forecasts, with must-have travel tools such as flight search, currency, unit, time and clothing size converters, tip calculator, phrase book, a 3D globe, and even a geographical game for fun self education. SPB Traveler runs in panel with all options that panel software would use - running over the standard Windows Mobile interface and ability to be called according to time schedule.
